Why we exist

Dylemma was born from a simple question: why does jewelry wait for occasions? Why does it need permission, a milestone, a reason? We didn’t buy into that rule. So we made fine jewelry for regular days—for work, for late nights, for moments that don’t get names. Real diamonds, modern design, no ceremony attached.If you dont want a reason to wear it, this is it. Make it your everyday armour and then some.

Somewhere along the way, jewelry became conditional. You wear it when life approves. When something “big” happens. That never made sense to us. We believe jewelry should belong to your life as it is—messy, ordinary, unplanned.

Dylemma comes from a family of diamond polishers.

For over 40 years, our family has worked at the polishing wheel—and for generations before that, we’ve been part of the diamond trade.

Chances are, the diamond you wear today was polished in a place like Surat, where nearly 9 out of 10 diamonds in the world are finished. Yet the hands behind that work rarely see a fair share of the value they create. As lab-grown diamonds rise and global pressures increase, this craft is being pushed to the edge—wages falling, futures uncertain.

So when we decided to build a jewelry brand, we built it differently. We call it Equal Opportunity Trade—a model where polishers and cutters share fairly in the value, not just the labor.

This is our way of protecting the craft that shaped us.
